Inégal mais globalement réjouissant, l’album proposait notamment une version complétement déstructurée du tube festif “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party !)” des pionniers du hip-hop. Soit rien de moins que deux de mes artistes préférés. Depuis, les semaines ont passé. Les reprises aussi (mais un peu moins). Cette semaine sera ainsi la trentième à avoir cet honneur. Comme pour boucler la boucle, c’est une nouvelle version de cette chanson que je tenais à vous partager.</p> <p>Songwriter américain, <strong>Chris Garneau</strong> cite volontiers comme influences Jeff Buckley, Nina Simone ou Nico. C’est en 2006 que sort son magnifique premier album, <em>Music For Tourists</em>.
